LHS wins again the most prestigious BSS industry award

“Overall – Best Contribution to BSS” award in recognition of continuous outstanding performance

Frankfurt/Main – June 17, 2008 – LHS, the leading provider of telecom billing and customer care systems across the wireless, wireline, and IP telecom markets worldwide recently won the “Overall – Best Contribution to BSS” award at the 2008 Billing and Information Management Systems Event (BIMS), which was held for the first time in Amsterdam from 10 to 12 June 2008. The World Billing Awards acknowledge best billing practices and raise awareness of the significance of billing, charging, IT, and associated processes for the telecommunications industry. After being short listed in three categories, LHS, a member of the Ericsson Group  , was chosen by the panel of independent judges to receive the award in the event’s most prestigious category. This award is given to the organization, which has had the largest impact on the BSS landscape over the past year.

“This year, LHS was once again selected as the winner in the ‘Overall – Best Contribution to BSS’ category in recognition of its consistent strategy and continuing ability to meet its customers’ requirements, whilst at the same time maintaining and evolving an effective ecosystem of suppliers and partners,” said Hugh Roberts, Chairman of the Awards Judging Panel and Consultant Director for IIR’s BSS/OSS and RM events.
“Not only does LHS have a large and satisfied customer base which regularly upgrades to the latest versions, but also an impressive record of project implementations over the last 12 months.” he added.
