Sharing a Vision of Billing Excellence – LHS European Customer Convention 2008 in Dubrovnik

Customer Convention Europe offers an update on latest developments, company information and plenty of networking opportunities

Frankfurt/Main – November 19, 2008 – LHS held its fifth Customer Convention Europe on October 16 in Dubrovnik. At the informative event, entitled “Sharing a Vision of Billing Excellence,” attendees were briefed on key market and technology trends and the LHS roadmap, LHS strategic alignment with Ericsson, how to use BSCS iX as a strategic business tool, and a preview of BSCS iX Release 3. Following similar events in Geneva, Prague, Athens, and Paris in recent years, this year’s one-day meeting was attended by well over 100 representatives of major European telecommunications providers.

In addition to lectures by LHS, select customers also presented their experiences in cooperating with LHS. These included Wind Hellas with a lecture on supporting convergent fixed-mobile services with BSCS iX, Globul, who discussed the competitive edge provided by near-real time billing, and Telenor Serbia who gave a presentation on upgrading to BSCS iX Release 2. During the breaks and at an evening event, customers could network and share experiences with industry colleagues, and meet with LHS experts. The convention was sponsored by a number of long-standing LHS partners. These included Ericsson and HP as Gold sponsors, while Alcatel-Lucent, Atos Origin, Bull, Capgemini, IBM, Seavus, and Sun were associate sponsors.

“The excellent attendance coupled with the feedback to our fifth Customer Convention Europe once again assured us of our customers’ great satisfaction with BSCS iX Release 2, our latest customer care and billing product,“ said Wolfgang Kroh, CEO of LHS. “The number of customers purchasing BSCS iX Release 2 is steadily increasing, particularly in Europe, where the competitive telecommunications market calls for a premium billing and customer care system. Our web-based customer and product management system allows our customers to react more flexibly to their customers’ needs and to provide them with a range of new services,” he added. “Our partners and customers can continue to rely on our service, support and quality in the future.”
