New Americas Region Division Officer appointed by LHS

Mats Palving has extensive experience gained in international and regional leadership positions

Frankfurt, Germany – November 3, 2008 – LHS, a leading provider of telecom billing and customer care systems across the wireless, wireline, and IP telecom markets worldwide, today announced that effective October 1st, Mats Palving has joined its team of experts as new Division Officer for the Americas region.

Prior to joining LHS, Mr. Palving had been employed by Ericsson for more than 15 years holding numerous leadership positions around the globe in the areas of Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Business Planning. His international posts included Sweden, where he provided solutions and sale support for Asia, Africa, and the Americas, the USA, where he worked with international long distance carriers, and Colombia, where he was in charge of Solutions Management. At his most recent position in Mexico, Mats headed the multi country account of Telmex, the Mexico-based fixed-line sister company of America Movil, with operations throughout Latin America. Mats holds degrees in Business and International trade, and is a member of the Ericsson Executive Development program. He speaks Swedish, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
