LHS awards “Partner of the Year”
Frankfurt am Main – June 24, 2009 – On the occasion of this year’s “Partner Summit”, which took place this May in Kronberg near Frankfurt, leading system integration partners of LHS gathered to discuss and present a wide range of market-related subjects and engage in frank and lively discourse. Principal themes of the meeting were the future of billing in volatile telecom markets, LHS’ solutions, and open dialogue between the individual organizations. Due to the extremely positive resonance after the first such meeting last year, this partner summit has now established itself as an annual calendar highlight for the members of the LHS community.
During the event LHS honored Alcatel-Lucent with its “Partner of the Year 2009” award, an accolade first introduced this year. Alcatel-Lucent was selected in recognition of its extraordinary accomplishments in the expansion of LHS’ customer base. Also new this year, four companies were further designated as “LHS Diamond Partners”: Alcatel-Lucent, Atos Origin, Capgemini and Ericsson were all awarded this prize to acknowledge their long-term dedication to quality management within the context of the “LHS Project Engagement Model”.
Jean-Pierre Gaillat, Managing Vice President Systems and Applications Integration at Alcatel-Lucent, said: “The excellent and constructive collaboration with LHS over the last ten years has contributed decisively to this twofold honor. We consider the awards an incentive to further develop our activities with LHS in new regions and continue carrying out high quality, first-class projects. Our strategic partnership with LHS has entirely proven its value.”
“We are especially grateful to our strategic partners for their long-standing commitment and dedication, which have contributed substantially to our continued profitability and growth,” stated Wolfgang Kroh, CEO of LHS. “Our cooperation with Alcatel-Lucent has turned into a decade-long affiliation and we are committed to maintaining its positive development. Long-term relationships such as these have helped to build the foundation upon which our sustained success in the market is based,” he added.
